From the Colour Configuration Page you can save the colour schemes you develop to disk. There are two reasons why you may wish to do this. You may have developed a general colour scheme that you like to use in order to explore the Mandelbrot Set and Julia Sets, as it brings out the details well. Alternatively, you may have found a region of a Fractal, and spent some time devising a colour scheme to go with it. If you plan to save the definition of this Fractal region, you would want to save the colour scheme to go with it.
